Potts, Kerr & Co. specialise in the protection of intellectual property rights across the world and particularly in the United Kingdom and Europe.

Intellectual property rights, that is patents, registered designs, and the design right, registered trade marks and copyright, play an important part in bringing together the ingenuity of scientists, engineers and designers with the investment necessary to develop and market new ideas.

Intellectual property rights give legal recognition of new ideas or brand names and give the proprietor the right to stop unauthorised exploitation.

This site provides an overview of the main legal instruments available under UK law you can use to safeguard and ultimately profit from your innovation.
