Since joining Potts, Kerr & Co. in 2003 my time has been fairly distributed across a range of technical disciplines. The majority of my patent work is biotechnological in nature, although I do like to turn my hand to the more mechanical inventions from time to time.
I have an MSc in the management of intellectual property, which I obtained from Queen Mary, London. My legal training is underpinned by the broad and varied scientific knowledge acquired during my studies for a BSc in biomedical sciences at Keele University. I am currently working towards achieving full qualification as a UK and European Patent Attorney.
