I initially entered the profession as a Patent Examiner at the UK Patent Office before switching to private practice. On the patent side, my main areas of experience include chemistry, pharmaceuticals, nuclear physics, foodstuffs, herbicides, pesticides, biology, biochemistry and genetic engineering. I also have significant experience in both UK and Community trade mark and design matters.

I retired from the partnership in 2006 and am retained in a consultancy role.

I enjoyed attending INTA conferences for many years and made good friendships with colleagues throughout the world and have greatly missed these contacts recently and send my best wishes to all. With somewhat more time on my hands now, I enjoy dog walking, socialising and revisiting old jokes!
